Appearance details

In addition to the main unit, Midea M7 Pro also has two side brushes, a normal mop and a spare HEPA filter. The high-frequency vibration mopping component and the elastic mop are individually packaged in boxes. The remaining floor brushes and ordinary mopping water tanks and dust boxes are all pre-installed on the machine. A spare HEPA filter is included with the box, which not only saves the user’s cost, but also can be used for alternate cleaning.

The volume of the ordinary mop water tank is 220mL. The mop board and the water tank are designed to be detachable, which can be easily removed and cleaned.

Since the vibrating mop assembly uses the mop plate as a vibrating part, it cannot be disassembled from the water tank, and the capacity is slightly reduced to 200 mL. However, it is still enough to complete a deep cleaning of the medium-sized apartment. The vibrating elastic mop is tightly attached to the moving parts by means of Velcro. The dust box of the M7 Pro has a capacity of 450mL. M7 Pro has 30 sets of smart sensors throughout the body, providing functions including cliff detection and obstacle detection. After the device is added, click the sweeper card to enter the management interface, and the main interface functions are clear at a glance. The most commonly used functions such as map, power, suction, and water volume can be operated with one button. After scanning the whole house map, you can perform map management, and you can set room cleaning, room naming, zone cleaning, and regional deep cleaning. You can also set up virtual walls and restricted areas for sweeping and mopping, as well as continuous sweeping at break points and floor sweeping.

The management menu in the upper right corner is mainly for low-frequency settings such as vibration switch and viewing consumable life. Cleaning test

Aiming at the three main performance dimensions of sweeping and dragging robots: path planning, suction and mopping. M7 Pro has its own unique technical blessing. Of course, the most noticeable thing here is the high-frequency vibration mopping function, which is similar to the repeated wiping of an electric toothbrush. It is perpendicular to the direction of the sweeping and mopping machine, which is equivalent to adding a cleaning dimension that does not exist in manual mopping. Mop

After half an hour of water immersion experiment, it was found that the water tank did not seep to the direction of the mop, so long-term use with the mop will not soak the floor.

Since Midea M7 Pro is equipped with a unique high-frequency vibration mopping component, ordinary mopping water tanks and mopping cloths will not be tested this time. The test of ordinary difficulty obviously can’t reflect the advantages of high-frequency vibration mopping, so we went directly to the high difficulty: a cup of milk, a cup of coffee, and black sesame paste containing compound grain powder, all dried until semi-dry (drying The later test increases the difficulty, but it is also more in line with the actual use scenario).

The first two are good to say. After the solid sesame paste + high-viscosity starch is dried, it is not easy to pick it off. It can be said that this degree of stain has basically simulated the worst floor environment in the home.

In the actual mopping performance, the high-frequency vibration of the M7 Pro can be cleaned up and down basically after milk and coffee, and the sesame paste is a little indifferent. So we adjusted the water output to the highest level, and the mop was fully soaked. The hard sesame paste also gradually began to dissolve and loosen, and after three or four rounds, it was completely dried by the M7 Pro. The high-frequency vibration mop has a strong absorption capacity. After being completely mopped, there is no dripping of sewage.

Sweep the floor

Still directly adopting the “hell mode”: the light and small quinoa is easily affected by airflow and side brushing; potato starch with a smaller granularity can sink deeper into the low-carbon fiber and separate the dust from the vacuum cleaner. The ability and HEPA filter is a serious test. Both are sprinkled on the carpet.

Again, the flagship configuration still shows its due strength. Although the quinoa particles bounced slightly after being swept by the side brush, they were not far away, and were soon covered by a larger area of ​​sweeping, which basically achieved a one-time removal. The starch area seems to be ineffective for the first time, but in fact, the sweeper has already sucked up 80% of the starch on the surface, leaking out the true color of the carpet in a large area.

After the third cleaning, after passing through the contaminated area 7-8 times, the M7 Pro “fixed” the starch in the carpet fiber gully. This comparative result is quite good for a sweeper with an overall power consumption of only 55w.
